Adjusting Print Width for Better Receipt Alignment

Vendtill POS supports two main thermal roll paper sizes: 58mm and 80mm. However, some thermal paper rolls may have slight differences in width. This can cause receipt text to print too narrow or go beyond the edges.

To solve this, the Vendtill POS App allows you to adjust the print width. You can increase or decrease the printed area to match your paper roll size for better alignment.  

How to Adjust Print Width:

  1. Open the Vendtill POS App.
  2. Go to the Main Menu.
  3. Tap on Settings.
  4. Select Printers.
  5. Tap the Add (+) button to add a new printer.
  6. Fill in the printer details.
  7. Tap on Advanced Settings.
  8. In the Paper Size section, choose the correct width from the dropdown menu.
    • For 80mm paper rolls:
      Choose from 72mm, 76mm, or 84mm
    • For 58mm paper rolls:
      Choose from 50mm, 54mm, or 62mm
  9. Tap Save. 

If your receipt prints too small or too wide, try selecting a different print width until it fits well.
