The “Copy Product” or “Clone Product” feature allows users to duplicate an existing product within their POS System. By creating a new product with similar attributes, this feature streamlines the process of adding similar products to the POS system.

Imagine a textile shop that sells various dress styles. Instead of manually entering details for each new dress style (e.g., summer dresses, evening gowns, casual wear), the shop owner can use the clone feature:

The clone feature ensures consistency by copying all relevant information from the original product, reducing data entry errors.

Steps for copying or cloning a product
1. Log in to the POS Back Office Webportal.
2. From the main menu, select “Products.”
3. Navigate to the “Product List.”
4. Search for and select the product you want to copy or clone.
5. Check the box next to the product (using the checkbox on the left-hand side).
6. Look for the “COPY PRODUCT” button in the upper left corner.
7. Click the “COPY PRODUCT” button.
8. Enter the relevant details for the new product and click the “Save” button.
