1. How to Allow or Block Negative Stocks

 When it comes to managing inventory/ stocks, businesses have different preferences and policies. Some businesses prefer to track inventory/stocks while others don’t. Also, some business allows negative stock levels, which means that they will continue to sell an item even if it goes below zero in stock. Other businesses prefer not to allow negative stock levels and will prevent the sale of an item if it goes out of stock.

2. How to Allow or Block Negative Stocks 
  • Vendtill POS system now allows businesses the flexibility to choose whether to allow negative stock levels or not. This option can be useful for different types of businesses and situations.
  • This option can be activated via Back Office webportal, settings section under “software setup”.
3. How to Allow or Block Negative Stocks

 

  1. Login to POS Back Office Webportal
  2. Select “ Settings ” from main menu
  3. Go to the “ Software Setup”
4. How to Allow or Block Negative Stocks

 

  1. Tick ON “ Block negative stock ” button
  2. Click “ Update”

(Once you ON “Block negative stock ”, you cannot do the sales with negative stocks on item.)
